Super Teacher Bookmarks and Cricut Explore Giveaway

This post contains affiliate links, through which you would be helping to keep me crafting and blogging away. Thank you Cricut for sponsoring this post and giveaway.

Remember my “Reading is Super!” Bookmark Gift I made for the girls’ classmates at the end of the school year? Well, I also had made some “Super Teacher!” Bookmarks which I never shared with you. Now that the new school year is upon us, these bookmarks are a nice little gesture to give to your kids’ new teachers. Plus, scroll down to the bottom of the post to win your own Cricut Explore™!

Super Teacher Printable Bookmarks -- The Silly Pearl

Head on over to my Reading Is Super Bookmark post to download the template for the bookmark backing, and to see how to cut it out with your Cricut Explore.

Or you can use the template included along with the Super Teacher rounds – cut out the template by hand and trace it onto cardstock. Then use a 2” round punch for the Super Teacher rounds.

Apply adhesive to the back of the rounds, then insert a paper clip through the notch, and that’s it.

You can clip it to a gift card for buying books, or clip it to a notebook which I am doing here.

If you want to make “Reading Is SUPER!” Bookmarks for your kiddos’ new classmates, you can head to this post for the download and instructions. It was a breeze to cut out 60 bookmarks for the girls’ classmates last school year with my Cricut Explore, a gift from my husband this past Mother’s Day.

Reading is Super DIY Bookmark Classroom Gift

I’ve enjoyed using it for paper crafts and I look forward to using it more and more when I get the chance with fabric for appliques and other materials. With the holidays coming up, I will be making clock pillows and shoelace pillows as gifts, and while I do find hand-cutting meditative, sometimes I just need to get things done quickly and my Cricut Explore™ will be a lifesaver! I love that I can use my own fonts with the Cricut Explore, unlike my older Cricut where I had to use a cartridge (but you can still use your cartridges too!). Here are some other projects I’ve made with my Cricut Explore as well as with my old one.
