If you’re planning a last-minute road trip before summer’s end, and if your kiddo loves FROZEN the movie, then I have a fun idea to share with you today – FROZEN themed road trip fun packs. Here’s what I put in mine for my girls.

Frozen-Themed Road Trip Fun Pack Gift Idea - The Silly Pearl

I found all of my FROZEN road trip goodies at Walmart, where they have all kinds of FROZEN stuff. I’ll share what I got plus some other ideas that you could incorporate in your road trip fun pack too, or to save as gifts for upcoming birthdays or the holidays. At my local Walmart, I found FROZEN merchandise all over the store, so I wandered a bit and then narrowed down what I wanted to include in my fun packs. First up, I grabbed some T-Shirts from the girl’s section along the wall.

I picked up the two pink ones for friends.

I found several reading books and activity books in the book aisle.

FROZEN 3

They LOVE these Busy Books that come with a book, a large playmat, and 12 characters that are all contained in this box. Definitely including this for them to share for hotel downtime and long after we return home.

Finally, I needed something to contain everything. Should I look for a gift bag? Should I decorate a box to make it FROZEN-themed? But then I came across these little backpacks. They’re smaller than the kind you’d buy for school so these are perfect for a road trip. And because they’re smaller, they’re less expensive.

Here are some things I did not include in their road trip fun packs, but you could! In the toy area, there were lots of FROZEN toys, such as dolls and dress-up stuff, but my girls would really love these purses that you color and decorate with gems. These would also be great for hotel downtime. And in the bedding area, a fuzzy blanket would be great for a winter road trip! And what do I spot up there – a big stuffed Olaf for cuddling in the car. I’ll be keeping these in mind for holiday gifts.

So I put everything in the backpacks…

They dove right into their books (hey save those for later!).

I’m happy with the amount of things I included in my FROZEN road trip fun packs – I didn’t go overboard but there’s plenty to keep them occupied. The backpacks were so useful for both packaging their gifts and for keeping everything together on trips (I didn’t have to DIY anything…not sure how I feel about that, well, my to-do list thanks me!). And I know they will play with everything for a long time. Hope this post gave you some fun ideas for your FROZEN-loving kiddo. You can find everything at Walmart.
