I’m so excited to show you this year’s free printable Valentines that can be used for giving candy or non-candy. They were inspired by a few things…first, my girls’ current obsession with kites and other things that float in the air, and second, some of their favorite furry pals. They were so delighted to see cartoony versions of their friends. The dinosaur was made when I tested the RAWR pattern by see kate sew.
First, download the printable (Link to the PDF is at the end of the post). Then print it out on cardstock, and use a paper trimmer to cut out the Valentines.
Then stick a piece of candy onto the Valentines with a piece of double-sided tape or glue dots. We used heart-shaped Nestle Crunch and Hershey’s Kisses. I adhered them to the hearts in each design, but you could also just stick them onto any of the empty space. There’s also plenty of room at the bottom for your kiddo to sign his/her name.
You can use these printables for NON-CANDY Valentine goodies as well, because I made the message on each Valentine very general. Here I used a hole punch for giving out pencils. Or you could stick on a heart eraser instead of candy. Oh and someone commented on Pinterest that these could also be used as lunchbox notes. GREAT idea! Or how about strung together into a garland?
