For those of you who are new to my blog, I write the monthly series Multiples in the Kitchen once a month.
It has been so fun cooking with my girls and seeing their skills and confidence grow little by little over the last year and a half.
A question, especially parents of older kids:
At what age did you allow them to cook at the stove, use a knife to cut harder stuff (i.e. not just cutting a banana or spreading nutella on a piece of bread)? You know, the more “dangerous” stuff? My girls are five, and I’m considering how ready they are and I’d love some thoughtful input from more seasoned parents out there. Thanks!
Plus, if you have any recipes that your kiddos love to cook, I’m open to suggestions as well.
By the way, if you have multiples, the Multiples and More Blog Network is a great resource!
