For the cheesiest of holidays, the girls and I made Cheesy Heart Crackers for this month’s Multiples in the Kitchen post on the Multiples and More Blog Network. I found the recipe for the crackers on Country Living, though they were originally for making goldfish crackers. These were surprisingly quick and easy to make, with ingredients you may already have on hand. They turned out crispy, flaky, and completely addicting! Love the hint of crushed black pepper in every bite (and that you can see the pepper in the crackers).
I’ll be making more and packaging them as gifts for Valentine’s Day. These cellophane treat bags and treat boxes from Martha Stewart Crafts are the perfect size. The labels, tags and ribbons were included…so convenient, and cute. PSST…just got an email Martha Stewart food packaging is 40% off today 2/9 at Michael’s.
I’d also love to serve these crackers as croutons with a salad or in a bowl of tomato soup. Mmmmm.
Check out how we made Cheesy Heart Crackers (plus the recipe) today on the Multiples and More Blog Network. Sophie may or may not have chocolate on her face from eating too many M&Ms and Hershey’s Kisses that have been hanging around the house lately.
And here’s what the girls and I have cooked together in previous months.
