Last Chinese New Year, Tawny @ The L-T Experience created a lovely display for her dining table using my Chinese New Year Firecracker Wall Hanging tutorial.
This year she’s mixed it up even more, using my printable DIY Red Envelopes. She took one of the printables and applied it to the firecrackers, so that each one has the dragon and “Gung Hay Fat Choy” message. LOVE it!
Thank you so much Tawny for sharing! Check them out on her blog here.
And if you celebrate, Happy Chinese New Year! As parents usually say as they give red envelopes to kids, “Grow quickly and be healthy!” (or something like that).

Steph, happy Chinese New year!! I made those cute little red envelopes with your dragon templete you have - for my 5 year old son's class. (the teachers put fake money)and I broght them a bag of small oranges!!
ReplyDeleteWe live in Newton Mass and love to teach my son - about all cultures (as one of my bestfriends just moved back to Mongolia)

Happy New Year, I look forward to following along this year!
ReplyDeleteHappy Chinese New Year to you and your family as well Steph!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for letting me mix up all your lovely instructions to put a Team LT twist onto it. The kids couldn't wait to crack into those firecrackers after dinner! But they were worried that they might tear apart the pretty picture, so I had to print out some more for them to decorate :D
